1. Who we are

China Rabbit ("we") arranges private passenger transport around Shanghai, performed by independent, licensed transport operators ("partners"). We are a booking agent; the transport contract is performed by the partner.

2. Bookings

Online bookings are confirmed once the 10% payment is verified, with trip details on the confirmation page and by email. Bookings arranged by message are confirmed in writing with the price, pickup time and place. Please check it; errors should be reported before the day of travel.

3. Prices & payment

Prices are quoted in USD per vehicle and include driver, fuel, tolls and parking unless stated. A 10% deposit of the total price is due at booking; the balance is payable after the ride by PayPal, Alipay/WeChat Pay, or cash in yuan. USD prices are converted at the day's rate on payment.

4. Waiting & changes

Airport pickups include 60 minutes of waiting after actual landing; other pickups include 15 minutes. Additional waiting is charged at $43 per hour, pro rata. Changes requested before pickup are free where a partner can accommodate them.

5. Cancellation & rescheduling

To help us schedule drivers and vehicles, the following policy applies to airport transfers, point-to-point rides and full-day charters. All times are in China Standard Time (UTC+8), based on the confirmed service start time.

Cancelling a booking

24 hours or more before pickup: free cancellation, deposit refunded in full.
Within 24 hours of the service start: 50% of the total price is charged as a cancellation fee. The 10% deposit already paid is credited toward this fee; any remaining balance is due.
No-show: if the passenger doesn't show up at the agreed time and place and can't be reached via the contact details on file, 100% of the total price is charged.

Flight cancellation or delay

Flight cancelled: if you can't travel because the airline cancelled your flight, provide the airline's official cancellation notice to cancel free of charge, with a full refund of any amount paid.
Flight delayed: a delay is not treated as a cancellation. Send us your flight number and we'll arrange pickup based on the actual arrival time.

Rescheduling
Contact us in advance to reschedule; this is subject to vehicle availability. A reschedule request is treated under the cancellation rule that applies at the time we receive it.

How to cancel
Send your cancellation request via the WhatsApp, email or other contact method used at booking. The cancellation time is when we confirm receipt of your request.

6. Conduct & safety

Seat belts and child seats must be used as required by law. Drivers may refuse carriage to intoxicated or abusive passengers without refund. Smoking is not permitted in vehicles.

7. Liability

Partners carry passenger liability insurance as required by law. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures or force majeure, nor for missed flights or connections; please allow sensible buffers. Our liability as agent is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes are subject to the courts of Shanghai.
